I usually don’t read historical fiction, but recently I have gotten more into it. It is intriguing to peak into the world once known that was modified by a writer’s inspiration.
Recently, I was recommended to read The Historian. I have not had much time to read, but when I do, I have a hard time putting down my Kindle. I want to know what happens in the unfolding plot. I have not finished the book so I cannot truly summarize the plot itself, but a reader’s overview really interested me in purchasing the book, “The Historian tells the story of a young woman plunged into a labyrinth where the secrets of her family’s past connect to an inconceivable evil: the dark fifteenth-century reign of Vlad the Impaler and a time-defying pact that may have kept his awful work alive through the ages.
