Looking to break from your norm of watching TV after work and spend some time with a special someone or even close friend, but not spend too much? (This is me always – I love going out.) Recently, I came across an older Boston.com article that details different deals that restaurants offer throughout Boston. It’s AWESOME. (Some of the deals are no longer, but most are still granted.)
Anywhoo, I came across a special for the Improv Asylum that could not be dismissed: $5 show night. Sometimes, you can’t even get a powerful cup of coffee for that price. Thus, I was in. The night was everything I expected and more. 5 different groups performed improv skits throughout the night: some jokes were funny, some were awkward and some made no sense, but it all lent itself for a good laugh with great company.
How do you deviate from the norm and enjoy weeknights??
